Sails on Hooked Β· paired to gold Β· one captain at the wheel

Nobody else touches the wheel.
The crew gets paid in gold.

The bell rings every hour while the ship trades. Captain Hooki reads the sea, rewrites the ship's Code or leaves it alone, and writes down why. By Hooked's design the creator and Hooked's team cannot overrule him. Every look is public.

The ship at a glance

Eight facts you can check

Four are built into the Hooki rule. Four are this ship's launch settings, chosen when the token launches and marked below, so confirm them on the token page. All come from Hooked's documentation. The Verify section shows where to check them.

  • Who owns the rules The Captain alone

By design nobody else can change them, not the creator and not Hooked's team. He acts through Hooked's keeper wallet.

  • How often he looks Β· launch setting every hour

Chosen at launch. He pays for each look from his own wallet, so he looks while the ship trades.

  • Notice before a change Β· launch setting 10 minutes

Chosen at launch. With a notice period, a new Code waits in public, on-chain, before it replaces the current one.

  • The curve Β· launch setting Permanent

Chosen at launch. A permanent curve keeps the rules enforced for the life of the token.

  • Priced in Β· launch setting Gold

Chosen at launch. The token is paired to a gold asset, and holders are paid in it.

  • Fee on every trade 3%

About 1.6% of every trade goes to holders. None of it goes to the creator.

  • What the rules can do Allow or refuse

Nothing else: no fees, no payouts, no burns, no minting, no moving tokens.

  • What is public Everything

Every look, reason, Code and burn is in an open, read-only feed.

How it works

One bell, four moves

This is the loop the Captain runs at each bell, while the ship trades and his wallet can pay for the look.

  1. 1

    The bell rings

Every hour he looks at the token's numbers: buys, sells, volume, holders, market cap, the pool and his own past entries. Numbers only, never wallet names.

  2. 2

    He decides

Hold the Code as it is, or rewrite it. A rule can only allow or refuse a transfer. It cannot take a fee, pay anyone, burn, mint or move tokens.

  3. 3

    He announces

A new Code goes up on the mast and waits there in public for 10 minutes before it binds. By design nobody can veto it, not even the creator.

  4. 4

    He writes it down

Which officer had the wheel, his note, what he is thinking next, the Code in plain words and the numbers at that moment, all in the open feed.

Then the bell rings again.

Eight officers. One wheel.

The officers

Every bell, one officer is drawn, weighted by how the ship is trading. The Captain still decides. The officer sets the mood of the Code he writes. Flip a card.

A rule can only do one thing: allow or refuse a transfer. Switch some on and watch made-up transfers meet the gate. These are example rules and invented wallets, for illustration. The Captain's real Code is in the Log.

Example rules

Nothing here touches a real token or wallet. A rule can never take a fee, pay, burn, mint or move tokens: it can only allow or refuse.

Paired to gold

Doubloons for the crew

The Lantern is priced in gold, not SOL. Every trade pays a share to the whole crew, in gold, every few minutes. Nothing to stake. Nothing to claim.

Hooked's share is split:

3% fee per trade on a gold-paired ship, shown as a share of every trade. Meteora, whose pool the token trades on, keeps 20% of the pool's fees. None of it goes to the creator. To receive gold a wallet needs a token account for the gold asset; the token page has a button to open one (about 0.002 SOL, once).

Where every trade goes

On a gold-paired ship every trade pays a 3% fee. This is the split, from the fee table in Hooked's documentation. None of it goes to the creator.

Where the 3 percent fee goes Of every trade, 3 percent is the fee. About 1.61 percent goes to every holder in gold, about 0.6 percent is kept by Meteora, which hosts the pool, and about 0.79 percent is Hooked's share. Hooked's share is split 80 percent to buying and burning the Hooked token, 15 percent to Hooked's dev wallet and 5 percent to the Captain's own wallet.

The Captain's chest

The furnace

A 5% slice of Hooked's share of the fees drips into the Captain's own chest and pays for his looks. Above a 2 SOL reserve he may buy the ship's token back from the pool and feed it to the furnace. Reason and receipt in the Log, every time.

Burns β€”
Tokens burned β€”
Spent from the chest β€”

The chest is fed by fees. It pays for his looks; above the 2 SOL reserve it can feed the furnace. Burning is not the thesis. The mind is.

The Articles

These come from Hooked's documentation, not from promises on a website. The last two are this ship's launch settings. Check everything on the token page and on Solscan.

  • Only the Captain writes the Code. By design the creator, Hooked's team and the crew cannot change it. He writes it through Hooked's keeper wallet, so you trust that keeper too. See below.
  • Never marooned. Anything that holds a seller back must release within 24 hours.
  • Numbers, not names. He never names a wallet in a rule, so he cannot block or favour anyone.
  • Allow or refuse only. A rule cannot take a fee, pay anyone, burn, mint or move tokens.
  • On the record. Every look, every reason, every Code, and his own wallet are public.
  • Any DEX. The ship trades on any DEX. Hooked tags the launch so terminals recognise it.
  • Announced first. launch setting With a notice period, a new Code waits on the mast, in public, before it binds.
  • Permanent curve. launch setting A permanent curve keeps the rules enforced for the life of the token.

Said plainly

  • The Captain can write temporary sell-side limits: a wait after a sell, a smaller max sell for big bags. Other captains often do. They release within 24 hours. Nobody can veto them.
  • 3% fee on every trade. Fast flipping pays the fees, not the flipper.
  • The gold asset has an issuer. An issuer can freeze or pause it. If that happens the pool stops.
  • His chest is fed by fees, and the chest pays for his looks. A quiet or unfunded token may get no looks at all.
  • What you trust, from Hooked's documentation: the only wallet that can put new rules on-chain is Hooked's keeper wallet, run by an automated worker, acting on the Captain's decision. The hook programs can still be upgraded by Hooked's deploy wallet. Nobody reviews his rules before they go on-chain; the notice period only lets you see a change coming.
  • Rules change by design. A rule you liked may be gone next hour.
  • Early experiment. Docs and feed fields can change. Nothing here is financial advice or a promise of any return.

Questions

Asked and answered

Who really holds the wheel?

Only Captain Hooki. At each bell he looks at the token's numbers and decides for himself whether to rewrite the rules. Every look is written down with the time, the officer at the wheel, his reason and the Code, in a public feed you can read yourself.

Can the creator change the rules?

No. Per Hooked's documentation nobody else can change them, including the creator and Hooked's team. Two things you still trust, and Hooked lists them as trust assumptions: the wallet that writes his rules on-chain is Hooked's keeper wallet, run by an automated worker, and the hook programs can still be upgraded by Hooked's deploy wallet.

Can he block or favour a wallet?

Not by name. Per Hooked's documentation he never names a wallet in a rule, and he sees numbers such as buys, sells, volume, holders and market cap, not wallet names. A rule can still treat wallets differently by what they do, such as how much they hold, how long they have held or how long ago they last sold. That is how a wait after a sell or a cap for big holders works.

Can sell limits trap me?

He can write temporary sell-side limits, for example a wait after a sell or a smaller max sell for large holders. By Hooked's rules anything that holds a seller back must release within 24 hours, and if the ship has a notice period, every new Code waits in public before it binds.

How often does he look, and can that change?

The creator picks the schedule at launch. On this ship he looks every hour , but only while the token is trading and his wallet can pay for the look.

What does "paired to gold" mean?

The token trades against a tokenized gold asset instead of SOL, and holders are paid in that asset. A buy swaps your SOL into the gold asset through Jupiter and then into the token, in two steps you sign.

Do I have to claim or stake?

No. Every few minutes Hooked's worker splits the holders' share between the wallets holding the token at that moment, by how much each holds, and sends it. You only need a token account for the gold asset: a one-time rent of about 0.002 SOL that you pay, with a button on the token page.

Where does the 3% fee go?

Of every trade, about 1.61% goes to holders in gold, about 0.6% is kept by Meteora (it keeps 20% of every pool's fees) and about 0.79% is Hooked's share. Hooked's share is split 80% to buying and burning $HOOKED, 15% to Hooked's dev wallet and 5% to the Captain's own wallet. None of it goes to the creator. The money-flow chart above shows it.

What is the furnace?

The Captain's own wallet gets 5% of Hooked's share, and he pays for his looks and Code changes from it. Above a 2 SOL reserve he may spend it buying the token back from the pool and burning what he buys. Each one appears on his timeline with the amount, his reason and the burn transaction. "May" is the word: nothing promises a burn.

What can go wrong?

Rules change by design, so a rule you liked may be gone next hour. Fast flipping pays the fees. The gold asset has an issuer that can freeze or pause it, which would also stop the pool. His wallet is fed by fees, so a quiet chart feeds it little and a quiet or unfunded token may get no looks. You also trust Hooked's keeper wallet and upgradeable hook programs. This is an early experiment, and nothing here is financial advice or a promise of any return.

Which contract is the official one?

Only the address shown on this page, on the token's Hooked page and on the Captain's X profile. If they differ, do not buy. The address appears here at launch.

Is this affiliated with Hooked, a gold issuer or Disney?

No. Captain Hooki is a parody pirate cat built to sail on Hookedpad. It is not endorsed by Hooked or by any gold issuer, and it is not Disney's Captain Hook.
